  • Douglas R. Ramsay

    Douglas R. Ramsay
    Vice Chairman and Founder

    Mr. Ramsay is a founder of Calfrac and served as a member of the Board of Directors and as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company from its formation in 1999 to 2013. Mr. Ramsay was also Calfrac’s President from its inception to November 1, 2010. Mr. Ramsay has an extensive background in the oil and natural gas industry. Prior to 1994, Mr. Ramsay was the President of Canadian Fracmaster Ltd., where he spent 12 years enhancing the overall presence of Fracmaster in Canada and worldwide. Previous industry experience as a project manager for Delta Consultants, drilling and completions foreman for Dome Petroleum Corp., and service operator for BJ Well Services Company contributed to Mr. Ramsay’s overall knowledge of the industry.


    Fernando Aguilar
    President and Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Aguilar has over 29 years of worldwide experience in technology, business and oilfield sectors. Prior to being appointed Calfrac’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Aguilar was President, Geophysical Services for the Americas of CGG Veritas, a global geophysical company, since April 2009. Prior thereto, he was President, Eastern Hemisphere, and prior to that Executive Vice President for Canada Land Processing, Canada Land Library and Western Hemisphere Land Acquisition. Mr. Aguilar’s leadership role encompassed responsibility for Canadian and Latin American operations and business sectors. Prior to holding these positions, Mr. Aguilar was with Schlumberger Ltd. Mr. Aguilar has completed the Director Education Program developed by the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Rotman School of Management in conjunction with the Haskayne School of Business.

  • Michael J. McNulty

    Michael J. (Mick) McNulty
    Chief Financial Officer

    Mr. McNulty has over 30 years of experience in the oilfield services sector, having most recently served for Saxon Energy Services Inc. as the President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2009 until April 2013 and as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from October 2005 until December 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. McNulty was employed by Precision Drilling Corporation, serving as the Senior Vice President, Finance from June 2001 until September 2005 and as the Vice President, Business Development and Treasurer from January 1997 until June 2001. Prior to his employment with Precision Drilling Corporation, Mr. McNulty served in various financial roles with increasing responsibilities in the oilfield services sector.

  • Rob montgomery

    Rob Montgomery
    President, Canadian Operating Division

    Mr. Montgomery is a veteran of more than 25 years in various marketing and operational roles in the pressure pumping industry. Mr. Montgomery joined Calfrac in 2009 and was most recently Vice President, Operations, Canadian Division. Mr. Montgomery received a Bachelor of Science, Engineering in 1984 from Michigan Technological University. In his new role, Mr. Montgomery leads the Canadian Division.

  • Lindsay Link

    Lindsay Link, P.Eng.
    President, United States Operating Division

    Mr. Link joined Calfrac as President, United States Operating Division in February 2013, bringing 30 years of North American and international experience in the oil and natural gas service industry, focused mainly on business strategy, growth, earnings and execution. Before joining Calfrac, Mr. Link was Managing Director, Continental Europe of Baker Hughes Incorporated since July 2012, and prior thereto was President, Pressure Pumping for the same company since March 2010. From 2004 to 2010 he was Vice President, Process & Pipelines Division of BJ Services Company. Over the previous 20 years Mr. Link held a variety of engineering, operations, sales and country management positions with BJ, gaining significant North American and international experience. Mr. Link is a professional engineer with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary (1981) and an MBA in Finance (1991) from the same institution. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (United States).

  • Robert l. sutherland

    Robert L. Sutherland
    President, Russian Operating Division

    Mr. Sutherland has been President, Russian Operating Division since September 2007 and was instrumental in establishing Calfrac’s operations in Russia. He has over 35 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry, of which the past 20 years have taken place in Russia, where he was part of the executive management team on four joint ventures. Previous to that Mr. Sutherland spent 15 years running various districts for an oilfield service and supply company in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

  • Tom J. Medvedic

    Tom J. Medvedic
    Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

    Before moving into his current role in November 2008, Mr. Medvedic was Calfrac’s Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer since 2004. Mr. Medvedic has nearly 18 years of experience in the oilfield services sector, and previously served for 10 years as the Treasurer of Ensign Resource Service Group Inc., a TSX-listed international oilfield services contractor. Mr. Medvedic is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

  • Dwight M. Bobier

    Dwight M. Bobier
    Senior Vice President, Technical Services

    Mr. Bobier has been with Calfrac since its founding in 1999, and leads the technical and engineering functions that support customer requirements and field operations. He is also involved in new product development from inception to service delivery. He has over 35 years of experience in the pressure pumping services sector of the oil and natural gas industry. Mr. Bobier holds a B.Sc. (Chemistry) from the University of Calgary and is a member of several professional organizations including SPE, CIM, CSUG and Stim-Lab.
