Hydration Unit

The Hydration Unit utilizes the CalMixer technology to hydrate water gels on the fly and maximize the ability to change concentrations during the treatment.

The layout of this unit includes 2 - 550 HP Cat engines that power 4 - centrifugal pumps and hydraulic components, 1 - 50 bbl fresh water tank, 2 - 50 bbl hydration tanks and the Calmixer tube bundle. The operation is overseen and controlled from the cab, which can be hydraulically elevated to provide an uninterrupted view of the tanks.
